TARAGARH PALACE HOTEL,PALAMPUR (H.P)

The Taragarh Palace stands majestically at a height of 1,000 meters, amidst 15 acres of lush forests and tea gardens in the Kangra Valley in Taragarh, Himachal Pradesh. The palace was built as a summer resort and it was acquired by the Royal Family of Jammu & Kashmir in 1951. Developed as a Heritage Hotel in 1971, Taragarh Palace hotel offers splendid views of the snow-clad ranges of the Dhauladhar Mountains.


A former royal residence built in 1937 and set on 6 hectares of forests and tea gardens, this elegant heritage hotel with an annexe is 5 km from the colorful Tashijong Monastery and 9 km from the 13th-century Baijnath Temple.

The traditionally decorated rooms have minifridges and TVs, plus tea and coffeemaking facilities. Some also feature sitting areas, wood-panelled walls, chandeliers and/or fireplaces. Room service is available.
